Education

July 1999 - Laurea Degree in Aerospace Engineering, University of Pisa. Thesis dealt in formulation of a liquid-vapour mixture model obtained to simulate accurately, from a physical point of view, the behaviour of hydrodynamic bearings flow in presence of vapour cavitation. A FORTRAN program has been developed, in order to integrate Reynolds' equation for plane journal bearing with stationary eccentricity, once it has found the correct boundary conditions by means of the shooting numeric method.

January 2001 - March 2001: Graduate School of Mathematics (Pisa, Italy). Special Course in Applied Mathematics (Applied Statistics and Probabilistical Modelling).

June 2003 - Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, University of Pisa. Doctoral thesis: Theoretical and Experimental Analysis of Cavitation Phenomena in Turbopumps for Space Applications.
